GOTV will decide HD-5, not UFCW "scandal"
HD-5 voters don't know or care much about the UFCW mess and fortunately, neither candidate appears to be making an issue of it on the campaign trail. I give the edge to Thrun because he makes a more compelling case for why he is running. Duran has made up a lot of ground but has not given a convincing explanation for why she got into the race so late.  

You Missed a Spot
Why is the line so limited?

You miss out on a lot of gold by not including other denver seats.

For instance, there an R running in HD9 who is currently on probation, and he's WINNING against his primary opponent.


SD 31 and SD 33 are on the ballot this year, too
It's off the normal cycle for these districts, but because of vacancies last year both Mike Johnston and I have to run for the remaining two years of our predecessors' terms.  They may not be the most interesting or competitive races in town, but I'm curious to see how the oddsmakers view things...
